The Era of Analeigh

2024 is here and all of my writing goals from the past years have been glaring at me from my To-Do list with a vengeance. I created Analeigh Rites as a pen name, but this literary world of mine is much more than a pseudonym. Words are my escape to new worlds that my mind create for reading pleasure. And I've decided that I no longer want to let life pass me by without contributing to the millions of books out there that were so good it changes a part of you. I can admit that I've let procrastination and the woes of life hinder this part of the process. But as a writer, I couldn't keep the words to myself forever. So I'd like to thank you for taking your time and joining this journey with me.

Over the next few months you'll see me post here short stories, writing prompts, and my general musings about this process of being an independent author. If you've been following me on social media, you've probably seen me excitedly talk about the debut novel I'm working on titled Whisper's Isle. The story is centered around leading lady Akasha Stewart, and with a stroke of luck, her own personal paradise will be brought to life.

Now I can't make any promises about the consistency of which I will be posting. I can assure you that writing is happening. However, deadlines don't seem to work when I announce them too soon, so this year, we're going to go with the flow of things and see where it takes me. In the past, I've struggled to really tap into the motivation I needed to keep this process moving in an adequate time frame. But this year, I will do more of holding myself accountable.

The Era of Analeigh is here and I fear I won't be going anywhere any time soon.
